SALUT, I'M IARY

I am a Romanian artist based in Cambridge, UK, specializing in videography, graphic design, photography, and illustration. I began my life as an artist studying fine arts in Romania, focusing on traditional oil painting, and graduated in Film & TV Production from Anglia Ruskin University.

My graduation film "Roots", where I worked as Art Director, won the GTC Bill Vinten Universities Cinematography Award and the Watersprite International Student Film Festival Cinematography Award. 

I further honed my skills by earning a certificate in digital graphic design from Central Saint Martins and am currently pursuing an MA in Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. 

My work is heavily inspired by old internet design, like the futuristic brutalist art of Keygen installers, 35mm photography, VCR footage and abstract expressionism. I found my comfort and passion in cherishing and paying tribute to technologies of the past.
